Much of Salena's work centres on helping parents feel steadier and more connected in their relationship with their child. Drawing on the principles of Non-Violent Resistance (NVR), she supports parents to remain present during difficult moments and to respond in ways that help reduce escalation and strengthen connection within family life.

Alongside this work with parents, Salena also meets with young people and adults when it feels helpful to spend some time thinking things through together.

How it works

Salena will send you a referral form to complete so she can understand your situation more fully before you speak.

She'll let you know if she can help

Once the referral form is received, Salena can let you know whether she's the right person for you. If not, she can offer some suggestions.

If Salena thinks she can help, she will suggest some options for how you could work together.
